Dr. STONE is getting another anime after the conclusion of its television series. The official website announced Dr. STONE TERRAFORMING on October 10, 2026, confirming an adaptation of the manga's continuation story from volume 27.

The announcement came during STONE FES. 2026, a finale event celebrating the anime. A new promotional video accompanied the reveal, featuring newly recorded dialogue from Senku Ishigami.

The production has not announced a release date, broadcast format, or streaming platform.

## Dr. STONE TERRAFORMING adapts the manga's continuation

The original Dr. STONE television anime concluded on June 25, 2026, bringing Senku's scientific adventure through the final chapter of the main manga.

However, manga readers have already had a chance to see what happens afterward.

TERRAFORMING is a continuation story collected in volume 27 of the manga, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The newly announced anime will adapt that material, allowing the animated story to continue beyond the television finale.

The official announcement describes the project as another scientific adventure for Senku and his companions.

The promotional video also marks Senku's return with newly recorded dialogue. The footage serves as the first official preview of the sequel, although further production details remain under wraps.
