These chamber mechanics can determine which characters deserve a slot in your Abyss teams. ❤️ Chamber 2 · First Half ### Bring a Healer for Radiant Moonfly Radiant Moonfly applies a debuff that can significantly reduce your team's damage output. A healer helps remove the debuff so your DPS can keep performing. Team tip: Consider Vodyanitsa or Mizuki for healing. 🛡️ Chamber 1 · Second Half ### Prepare for a Pyro Shield The Iniquitous Baptist's Pyro shield makes elemental coverage important. Hydro or Electro attacks can help break through it. Team tip: Furina provides Hydro application in Sora's Mavuika team. ⚡ Chamber 2 · Second Half ### Watch for the Treasure Hoarder's Attacks Sora recommends Freeze or Overloaded reactions to deal with this encounter's special mechanic. If your team cannot trigger either reaction, be prepared to avoid the boss's powerful attacks. Team tip: Freeze teams offer a straightforward option. ❄️ Chamber 3 · Second Half ### Bring Cryo Application The Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device has a special mechanic that benefits from Cryo application. Diona or Layla can help address it, even when your main damage dealer uses another element. Sora's tip: Diona with Sacrificial Bow can apply Cryo through repeated Hold Skills. These recommendations focus on the mechanics highlighted in Sora's Floor 12 guide. Check the full team sections below for character compositions and alternatives. Before going further inside the guide, here is one example team you can use, with all characters using only 4-star weapons and a build that should not be made an example (as you can see from the low Crit Rate on Skirk). But this just shows that with the team itself, you can defeat Spiral Abyss with a bad build! --- ## Recommended Teams for Floor 12 First Half 💡 ****Ley Line Disorder**: Characters' Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG increased by 75%. ### Stellar-Swirl Team ft. And who's the new Stellar character in this update? Yes, it's **Vesna** \- the new 5-star Anemo character. Her team is one of the best for the current Spiral Abyss F12 First Half, especially against the enemy in Chamber 3. However, remember that the boss in Chamber 2 requires your team to have a healer to remove a specific debuff or their DPS will go down a lot. ### Stellar-Conduct Team ft. Alyosha may not be as good as Vodyanitsa in term of healing, but the total damage from 3 characters in the team (1 Main DPS and 2 off-field Sub-DPS, honestly, is more than enough to ignore the debuff. ### Cheaper Stellar-Swirl Team ft. No worry, you have **Yumemizuki Mizuki** that were given for free (if you choose her from the Standard Character Selector in this patch). C0 Mizuki may could not reach Vesna's level, but C2 Mizuki can. And even though you don't have C2 Mizuki, C0 is already enough to clear the Spiral Abyss. Cryo MC is an extremely good F2P character, and while their damage is not comparable with Sandrone or Vesna, they can still hold themselves in Spiral Abyss. While Wriothesley and Cyno has rise through the meta when they receive a buff for Stellar-Glimmer reaction. Note: Vodyanitsa is with Cryo MC, Xilonen is with Cyno, and Nicole is with Wriothesley as he don't need a healer. ### Melt Team ft. You can try using **Lohen** and his premium team. While this team could not enjoy the Leyline Disorder, Lohen as a single-target DPS will thoroughly enjoy the battle since all the Chambers are full of bosses with no mobs in sight. ### Lunar Teams ft. Of course, Nefer and Flins' respective teams are also possible (they just didn't make it to the image). --- ## Recommended Teams for Floor 12 Second Half 💡 ****Ley Line Disorder**: All party members gain a 75% Cryo DMG Bonus. ### Best Freeze Team ft. This is no doubt the best team for F12 Second Half - yes, Vodyanitsa is the new and the best support for Skirk's team now. Not only do they enjoy the full Cryo DMG buff from the Ley Line Disorder, the enemies are too susceptible to Cryo. Just this two elements (Freeze team) is enough to defeat all of the bosses and mobs in this half. ### Underdog Freeze Team ft. It's okay, you can use the unhinged 5th Company Vice Captain **Lohen** instead. Although there is a mob wave in Chamber 1, they are weak enough that Lohen and his Freeze team can destroy them easily. In fact, that mob wave is more like giving you a chance to gather some Energy for the next Chamber. There are actually many other Freeze teams that can be used here, it's just this guide is going to be too long if we list out every single one of them. ### Stellar-Conduct Teams ft. Even better, you can use 1 of them in the First Half, and the second one for the Second Half. Of course, make sure it's the **Cryo Stellar Glimmer DPS** instead of the Anemo DPS as you still need a Cryo for the many bosses here. ### Lunar-Charged Team ft. Flins ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/eb/c3/ebc34dba-226d-448a-8bd7-25a7ee135adf/content/images/2026/10/Portraits-Flins---Columbina---Ineffa---Diona-Layla.png) If you don't use **Flins** Lunar team in the First Half, you can use him in the Second Half. His core team is just Ineffa and Columbina, while the last slot can be switched according to the enemies. And for this Spiral Abyss, you can replace it with **Diona** or **Layla** so their Cryo attacks can help reducing the Cryo Bar for the boss in Chamber 3. Personally speaking, I prefer using Diona with Sacrificial Bow as two of Diona's Hold Skill can single handedly reduce the boss Cryo Bar by a LOT. Example can be seen from the Stygian Onslaught boss above. ### Natlan Teams ft. Mavuika ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/eb/c3/ebc34dba-226d-448a-8bd7-25a7ee135adf/content/images/2026/10/Portraits-Mavuika---Furina---Bennett---Citlali.png) You might think **Natlan meta** has died, but not really. **Mavuika** is still a good DPS till nowadays. And even more surpising, this team can actually hold a candle in the Second Half because of the Natlan Mechanic that the boss in Chamber 3 have. If you don't have a Cryo character, this team is a decent option. However, note that the reaction from this team does not help you against the boss lady in Chamber 2 (as it need either Freeze or Overload). But it's okay, you can just avoid the boss lady when she were to use her Ultimate attacks. Note: **Furina** is here instead of **Xilonen** because we need Hydro or Electro element to destroy the Pyro shield that the boss has in Chamber 1.
