October 15 Update

## Limbus Company: Key Takeaways

- **New dungeon:** Mirror of Sisyphe replaces Mirror Dungeon 8.
- **Normal difficulty:** Requires completion of Chapter 2.
- **Hard difficulty:** Requires completion of Chapter 9.
- **Maintenance:** October 15, 6 a.m.–12 p.m. KST, equivalent to October 14, 5–11 p.m. Eastern.
- **Availability:** The new dungeon is scheduled to become accessible after maintenance concludes.

Limbus Company is preparing to introduce Mirror of Sisyphe, its ninth Mirror Dungeon, as part of the October 15, 2026, update.

Developer Project Moon has scheduled maintenance from 6 a.m. to noon Korea Standard Time (KST) on October 15, equivalent to 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern on October 14.

The new dungeon replaces the previous Mirror Dungeon and introduces separate entry requirements for Normal and Hard difficulty. Players looking to enter the new content should check their story progression before maintenance concludes.

## Mirror of Sisyphe Replaces Mirror Dungeon 8

Mirror Dungeons are a major part of Limbus Company's repeatable content, allowing players to assemble teams and progress through a series of encounters.

The October 15 update transitions the game from Mirror Dungeon 8 to Mirror Dungeon 9: Mirror of Sisyphe.

Rather than operating as an additional dungeon alongside the previous version, Mirror of Sisyphe becomes the new Mirror Dungeon experience.

Players should therefore expect their regular Mirror Dungeon activities to move to the updated system once maintenance has finished.

The update also establishes different story completion requirements depending on the difficulty selected.

## Mirror of Sisyphe Entry Requirements

| Difficulty | Story Requirement |
| ---------- | ------------------ |
| Normal | Complete Chapter 2 |
| Hard | Complete Chapter 9 |

Players who have completed Chapter 2 can access Normal difficulty, while Hard difficulty requires considerably more progress through the main story.

For newer players, this means the new Mirror Dungeon will become accessible relatively early, although its harder version remains locked behind later story content.

Veteran players planning to challenge Hard difficulty should ensure they have completed Chapter 9.

## October 15 Maintenance Schedule

Project Moon has announced a six-hour maintenance window for the update.

Because Limbus Company operates on a Korean update schedule, the maintenance begins on October 14 for players in North America.

| Time Zone | Maintenance Window |
| ------------------ | ----------------------- |
| Korea (KST) | Oct. 15, 6 a.m.–12 p.m. |
| U.S. Eastern (EDT) | Oct. 14, 5–11 p.m. |

At the time of writing, the scheduled maintenance window has not yet ended. Players should wait for Project Moon's confirmation before assuming the update is available.

Maintenance schedules can also change if additional work is required.

## What Players Should Know Before the Update

The main consideration for players is the transition from the previous Mirror Dungeon to Mirror of Sisyphe.

Players who regularly participate in Mirror Dungeon activities will be entering a new version of the mode after the update.

The previous projection-reward claim window has already passed, so players should not assume those rewards remain available during the transition.

For those preparing to enter the new dungeon, completing the relevant story chapters is the clearest requirement confirmed by the developer.

Project Moon has published official update notices and a visual overview of the new dungeon through the game's Steam announcements.

## When Does Mirror of Sisyphe Release?

Mirror of Sisyphe is scheduled to arrive with the October 15 Korean update, following maintenance scheduled to conclude at noon KST.

For players in the Eastern United States, that corresponds to 11 p.m. on October 14, provided maintenance ends on schedule.
