About Morganyte

Morganyte is an independent publication covering JRPGs, anime, indie games, gacha and live-service games, game development, creators, and the wider games industry.

We publish news, reviews, features, editorials, interviews, guides, reports, and other editorial content.

Editorial Content

Morganyte strives to publish accurate, useful, and well-sourced information. However, journalism concerns events, products, services, people, companies, and industries that can change rapidly.

We do not guarantee that every piece of information on Morganyte will remain complete, accurate, or current indefinitely.

We may correct, clarify, update, revise, or remove published material when appropriate.

Opinions expressed in editorials, reviews, columns, interviews, quoted material, or other attributed content belong to the applicable author or speaker and do not necessarily represent the views of every person associated with Morganyte.

Reviews and Recommendations

Reviews, recommendations, scores, rankings, and similar editorial judgments represent opinions based on the information and experience available to the author at the time of publication.

Games and live-service products may change after publication through patches, updates, expansions, server changes, balance adjustments, shutdowns, or other developments.

Morganyte may update coverage when appropriate but is not obligated to continuously revise previously published reviews or recommendations.

Paid Products and Memberships

Morganyte may offer paid memberships, subscriptions, reports, digital products, event access, or other paid offerings in the future.

Specific pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refund policies, and access conditions presented when a purchase is made will form part of the agreement governing that purchase.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original content created and published by Morganyte, including original articles, reporting, written commentary, graphics, branding, logos, site design elements, and other original materials, is owned by Morganyte or used with appropriate permission.

You may access and share links to Morganyte content for personal and noncommercial purposes.

You may quote reasonable portions of our work for purposes such as commentary, criticism, discussion, scholarship, or reporting where permitted by law and with appropriate attribution.

You may not, without permission:

• Republish entire Morganyte articles or substantial portions of them
• Reproduce or distribute Morganyte's original graphics, reports, databases, or other protected materials except as permitted by law
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit Morganyte content
• Remove copyright, attribution, or rights notices
• Present Morganyte content as your own
• Systematically reproduce the publication or create a substitute for it

Nothing in these Terms limits rights available under applicable copyright law, including fair use where applicable.

Third-Party Intellectual Property

Morganyte covers creative works and may display or reference screenshots, trailers, promotional artwork, game footage, logos, quotations, embeds, and other materials belonging to third parties.

Ownership of those materials remains with their respective rights holders.

Their appearance on Morganyte does not imply ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.

If you are a rights holder and believe material on Morganyte has been used improperly, please contact us with sufficient information to identify the material and your concern.

User Communications and Submissions

If you voluntarily send Morganyte a story tip, correction, pitch, feedback, press material, or other communication, you represent that you have the right to provide that material.

Sending information to Morganyte does not guarantee publication, coverage, a response, confidentiality, or any particular editorial treatment unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

Do not send confidential or legally sensitive information through ordinary contact channels unless appropriate arrangements have been made.

PR Materials and Review Copies

Developers, publishers, studios, creators, and PR representatives may provide Morganyte with press releases, review codes, preview access, event access, assets, or other materials.

Providing such material does not guarantee coverage or favorable coverage.

Morganyte retains editorial control over whether and how a subject is covered, subject to any embargo or confidentiality terms we have expressly accepted.

Where appropriate, material relationships relevant to editorial coverage may be disclosed to readers.

Affiliate Links, Advertising, and Sponsorships

Morganyte may earn revenue through advertising, affiliate links, sponsorships, paid partnerships, or other commercial arrangements.

When required or editorially appropriate, these relationships will be disclosed.

Commercial relationships do not entitle an advertiser, sponsor, affiliate partner, developer, publisher, or other third party to favorable editorial coverage.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Morganyte to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, disruptive, or harmful activity.

This includes attempting to interfere with the site's operation, bypass security measures, access systems without authorization, distribute malicious software, scrape the site in a manner that materially disrupts its operation, impersonate others, or use Morganyte's services to violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

Any dispute concerning these Terms will be subject to applicable state and federal law and the jurisdiction requirements imposed by law.
