The second phase of Netmarble's Demon Slayer collaboration introduces new heroes, exclusive Nichirin swords, and adjustments to Infinite Trial and the real-time arena.
Seven Knights Re:BIRTH is preparing for the second phase of its Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration, with Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho joining the collectible RPG on October 15, 2026.
Publisher Netmarble outlined the upcoming additions in an October 14 update notice, confirming new collaboration equipment, awakening content, and several gameplay adjustments.
The update continues the crossover that began October 1 with Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma. The full collaboration is scheduled to run through October 29, giving players another two weeks to participate in its limited-time activities.
Giyu Tomioka Joins Seven Knights Re:BIRTH
Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira from Demon Slayer, arrives as a new Legendary collaboration hero.
Netmarble classifies Giyu as an all-rounder, with abilities that combine offensive attacks and defensive scaling. His basic attack deals damage based on both physical attack and defense while restoring a portion of his health.
His awakened abilities include attacks inspired by his Water Breathing techniques.
The seventh form, Drop Ripple Thrust, targets three enemies selected by attack power and applies a critical-hit chance reduction. His tenth form, Constant Flux, delivers a penetrating attack against all enemies while restoring health to allies based on damage dealt.
The announced effects suggest a character capable of contributing damage while supporting the team's survivability.
However, Netmarble notes that skill details may change. The official notice also uses Traditional Chinese terminology, so players should consult the English-language game client for final localized skill names.
Shinobu Kocho Joins the Collaboration's Second Phase
Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, is also part of the October 15 collaboration lineup.
Her arrival follows the first phase's introduction of Tanjiro and Zenitsu, completing the four-character crossover roster previously announced by Netmarble.
The October 14 notice additionally references Shinobu's awakening content and exclusive equipment.
Players interested in collecting the collaboration characters should note that this is a limited-time event. The crossover is currently scheduled to conclude on October 29.
Two New Nichirin Swords Are Exclusive to Collaboration Events
Alongside the new heroes, Netmarble is introducing two Legendary exclusive equipment items inspired by the characters' weapons.
| Character | Exclusive Equipment |
|---|---|
| Giyu Tomioka | Water Hashira's Nichirin Sword |
| Shinobu Kocho | Insect Hashira's Nichirin Sword |
English equipment names are descriptive translations of the official Traditional Chinese notice.
These weapons come with an important restriction: they can only be obtained through collaboration events.
Netmarble specifically states that the two weapons will not be available through ordinary exclusive-equipment summons or standard content-clear rewards.
The developer plans to explain their acquisition methods in the relevant event announcements.
Exclusive attributes will be assigned through equipment tuning, meaning players should also review the final equipment details before investing resources.
Infinite Trial and Real-Time Arena Receive Adjustments
The October 15 update also introduces changes outside the Demon Slayer collaboration.
Netmarble is reducing the strength of certain enemy formations in Infinite Trial, adjusting monster statistics and skills to lower the difficulty of selected encounters.
The real-time arena is receiving scoring adjustments in specific competitive ranks.
For Master I–III, the points lost after a defeat decrease from 50 to 40, while the points awarded for victories remain unchanged.
Diamond I receives a more substantial adjustment. Victory rewards increase from 50 to 100 points, while defeat penalties decrease from 50 to 30.
| Rank | Wins: Before | Wins: After | Losses: Before | Losses: After |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Master I–III | +50 | +50 | −50 | −40 |
| Diamond I | +50 | +100 | −50 | −30 |
These changes should make defeats less punishing in the affected ranks, while Diamond I players will also receive more points for winning matches.
Demon Slayer Collaboration Continues Through October 29
The Seven Knights Re:BIRTH collaboration runs from October 1 through October 29, with its content divided into two phases.
The first phase introduced Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and the Legendary pet Nezuko Kamado. It also brought the Infinity Castle event mode and a special challenge featuring Akaza.
The October 15 update begins the second phase, adding Giyu and Shinobu alongside additional collaboration activities.
Players participating in the event dungeon can earn event currency and exchange it for rewards. The official event notice warns that the event shop closes before maintenance on October 29 and that unused currency will expire.
The event dungeon becomes available after clearing Adventure stage 2-5.
Players can read the October 15 update notes and follow additional announcements through the official Seven Knights Re:BIRTH forum.
