Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! Introduces Ume Mizunoe in Character PV
Ume Mizunoe joins the student council to save his grades. His new colleagues might be a bigger problem in Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!
Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! has released a character introduction for Ume Mizunoe, voiced by Shogo Sakata. His opening question, “So this is the student council room?” sounds innocent enough. Considering the people waiting inside, he might want to reconsider.
Ume is a first-year student at Fujinasu Academy with a very uneven academic record. He excels in Japanese and has earned literary awards, but his science grades threaten to make him repeat a year.
Joining the student council is supposed to help his academic standing. It also puts him in the company of students whose personalities promise to make that rescue plan considerably more complicated.
There’s an immediate appeal here for Kaguya-sama fans: a prestigious school, a student council room, and kids who probably shouldn’t be trusted to keep things running smoothly. Muchimaro’s series pitches its own flavor of chaos, with a mismatched ensemble turning everyday council business into slapstick and romantic comedy.
Passione is producing the adaptation, with Naoyuki Tatsuwa directing, Ryo Imamura handling character design, and Masahiro Yokotani overseeing series composition and scripts.
According to the official website, streaming begins October 2026 so stay tuned.
Update:
Now we have a trailer for Hisako, voiced by Haruka Shiraishi.
